Progression Continues!

I went to the Dr. today and lo and behold, I am dilated to a 3 and 50% effaced! Finally, some progress! I have made it longer than I did with Mug, so I am excited! I am so anxious about going into labor in the middle of the night. Did anyone else go in the middle of the night and have to have someone watch the other kiddos? It seems so hard! I guess I will ask one of the granddads to come sleep over here until he wakes and then come up. They don't get to see the labor anyway. Crazy! Well, I am contracting right now, so we will see what happens!!

I went into labor with my second around 12:30 a.m. We already had a friend that we had set up to bring my little girl to their house, no matter the hour I went into labor. So, we just got my daughter out of bed and took her over to their house. After a little rocking from my wonderful friends, she went right back to sleep. We then headed to the hospital. They brought her up the next morning to meet her new baby sister. I didn't ask family, b/c I just didn't want any family members to miss out on anything.

Oh...I am now 5 weeks away from having my 3rd. We'll see if this one plays out as well as the first two. :)

hey girl:) that's great news!!! With Ally my water broke at midnight, and we called Mark's mom to come over. By the time we got checked in and everything it was around 2am and unless you are like a 9 they usually don't wake your Dr. Until around 6:00, and then grandparents can come join!! Exciting times:)

kinsey,
you will not look like a slob--my attire consists of anything i can get over my belly and keep it covered. i think i have 2 shirts that do that! haha! maybe i will be there with a baby in a sling! hope to see you there!
