In Other News This Weekend

Saturday night we had our Life Group Christmas party. We played some competitive board games guys v. girls. They completely obliterated us in Scene It, where I boasted I was the best, since I felt like I let me team down, we challenged them to a re-match of Trivial Pursuit 90's. We got even. Don't mess with me on Divorces and Mishaps, people. I know all sorts of pointless information.
It happened. I got the cold of the year. I felt it coming on Friday night. It slowly crept up on me. This happens to me every flippin' Christmas and I loooove Christmas. I hope I can rest this week to feel good by Saturday. I have tried to will it away, but tonight I feel like doodoo. I hate colds. I missed church today because I could not breathe. I don't want to sound whiney (but I will) I will feel even worse tomorrow, I'm afraid, and I have aerobics to teach at 5:45 a.m. not to mention work. I still have a lot of stuff to do for Christmas. Man. This really stinks. The very good news though is that I have the best husband in the entire world. Seriously. He made me stay in bed until 12:00. Get this...he made me breakfast burritos and coffee in bed, did ALL the laundry, cleaned the entire house from top to bottom-the whole nine yards, went to the grocery store and took a jog. Is he the bomb or what????? Man, I don't know what I did to deserve that man. Gotta go blow my nose. Again.

I'm loving your blogs with all the pictures! I, too, have a cold or sinus infection and am hoping it will go away by Christmas! I wonder if it's because we wear ourselves down this time of year. Hope yours go away quickly! We will have to play together sometime, because I have Trivial Pursuit DVD pop culture and know lots of useless trivia about that as well!!
