Friday: We all geared up in our green and gold for Pop-Pop's annual office football kick-off luncheon! I even made poor strep throated REW get dressed up! Can you tell our family was excited for the big game on Saturday?
Friday night was our first supper club gathering! A few of us decided we needed to spend a little more QT together and what better way than over din din? We decided it would be a family-friendly affair and all met over at our house for burgers. We may think the "whole" family thing after the boys were running around like crazies! ha! No, they were just having fun! We just have to keep an eye out that there are no escapees! We are missing two of the gals in this picture, Allison and Melissa...if they were in the picture, Genny would not seem like a giant! Short girls representin'!
Saturday morning, Brent met up with Benjie and Creighter Bug for the boy's first "hunt" with their daddy-o's! Too cute, of course. I think Mug liked the "gator-rave" that Uncle Benjie gave him better than just about anything else.
Saturday: Game Day! Wish I took more pictures. The hard-core fans came over: Hillmans, Polnicks and Brad Wilson. We are so hard-core, that we hired a sitter for the boys so not to be bothered. REW slept most of the game, thru a major major thunderstorm, 4 power outages. Yet, she woke up in time to see us WIN and get her very own first bowl of icecream.
The rest of the weekend was chillax time. Love having my man home from work. So do the kids. We cooked for my parents on Sunday night and had a delicious dinner and Gigi and Pop Pop's on Monday night. Was all so so so great. Wish all weekends lasted three days...
Here's to hopin' the Bears make a bowl game this year!!!

yeah, scott was a little bummed that we were at the hospital during the baylor game...but hank was definitely worth it!! and in my opinion, he brought the bears good luck :-)
