Turks and Caicos

We are back from the most fabulous vacation ever! If you are looking for a great FAMILY vacation for the future, I highly, highly recommend the 'Beaches' all inclusive in Turks and Caicos. I think everyone thought we were bonkers for wanting to take a tot with us to a beautiful Caribbean locale. However, the Beaches resort is so so so kid friendly for all ages-I think Tristan had more fun than we did!

Tristan was not a fan of the sand. I even tried to take him several times a day to get "adjusted" to it. Nope. He hates for his hands and feet to be dirty, so I should have known! He mainly liked the pools.

Another HUGE bonus (I think) about all inclusives are the constant food and drink. Tristan had many many smoothies and lots of unhealthy yummy food! You can eat icecream all day. Ok, maybe that was me who was eating icecream all day!

Yummy! Hot dogs and fries galore!

While there, Tristan found his new best friend...Elmo. The kid had never seen him before, but now...obsessed. Whoever created Elmo is a genius because I think every kid there felt the same way.

'Beaches' is partnered with Sesame Street so the daycare and daycamps are all sesame street stuff. Pretty cool idea! They have trained nannies who were wonderful and the facility is spotless. You can leave your kiddos all day or for a short bit. We left Tristan a couple of times so we could get some alone time and snorkel and have nice dinners. He really liked the ladies in there! And of course, Elmo!

Tristan made so many new friends! Of course, he is his mother's child--both of us talk to everyone we see until we know the whole resort by name. This was his favorite pool because it was so shallow and there were always plenty of playmates!

This was honestly the first vacation I can say I was sad to return. Usually, and I have been to a lot of fun places, I am ready to come home. For some reason, I was sad this time! I think just being the 3 of us with literally no obligations was so relaxing for me. We all bonded and made memories. It was neat to see Tristan thrive in a new setting. So, after a few shed tears, we are back in the daily grind. Seriously, if you ever want to go somewhere great for all ages, consider Turks and Caicos!
**side note: I have a seriously hot husband**

Cody and I were married at Sandals in the Bahamas (sister company to Beaches). We, too, shed many tears as we were leaving.

You are super-duper adorable with your little baby belly! Looks like you guys had a fabulous time! We'll pocket that idea away for future vacations!

Chance and I LOVED the all-inclusive resorts! We did Sandals Bahamas for our honeymoon. It's the best feeling in the world to have zero obligations and just enjoy vacation. It's the only way to go!

And you're too cute with your barely-pregnant belly and your bathing suit. :)
