hehehe....i'd heard about that but had yet to see it until now! Wow...I wonder what was going thru her head? Was she just really nervous or just really uneducated??
I nearly peed in my pants that was so funny!!
I saw that last night on Letterman, and Adam and I laughed so hard. It is so stinkin' funny! I mean, "such as" at the end of a sentence? Although I can't claim to be the most eloquent person myself!
i know. poor girl. i hate to poke fun, but this is just so funny. she was on the today show this morning and they gave her a chance to re-answer the question. she was still pretty funny even today.
Though I am no Carolina girl, I'll add that she doesn't represent all the teens here. Notice how she mentioned the hot buttons like poverty, South Africa, and Iraq like she was a politician.
Did you see her this morning on The Today Show? Bless her heart - she said that she just had one of those out of body experiences and was so nervous that she only heard about 3 words of the question. But when she started telling them about where she's going to college and what she's going to study, I cringed - SUCH a rehearsed answer! And that's why I don't watch beauty pagents!
