Productivity
Today was about the little things. I got some stuff done that needed checking off. Bless my mom's heart, she watches both of my kids every wednesday from 8:30a.m. to 2p.m. Usually, though, I teach my morning Turbokick class and then look too nasty to run any errands. Instead, I opt to come home and shower uninterrupted and then run maybe one errand. Today was different. I switched classes with a friend of mine so I am now teaching in the evening tonight. I dropped the beans off at Guckie's at 9 a.m. with breakfast in tow. Headed downtown to SPICE to treat myself to a much needed new pair of jeans. I feel like I have been buying cheap "transition" jeans for faaaar too long. Think about it. I got preggo in the summer of 2006. After that, I was trying to lose the weight to fit back into my good jeans. After wearing them for maybe 2 months. Boom. Preggers again. Repeat cycle. I think almost 3.5 years constitutes a good ol' pair of jeans. I found the perfect pair of 'Citizens of Humanity' {in my opinion, they are the most wonderful fitting jeans!} straight leg jeans! I bit the bullet and got straight leg jeans...I think they are so cute...we will see. Of course, they are made for women who are 5'9 or taller. So, I had to head straight to the tailor to have them hemmed. He said they will be ready by Friday! I took something back to Target to be exchanged. Got my flu shot. I cannot believe how many people already have the flu! Ahhh! Went and spent a giftcard that Jennifer gave me for my birthday 6 months ago...I have been feverishly waiting to spend it on something other than transition clothes! So, I got some trouser jeans and a dress there! So, folks, there you have it. 5 places in 2 hours. I feel a little more rested now knowing I have a flu shot and something to wear on my bottom half!
