A Place to Rest Her Little Head

Well, it is finished! Or at least for now while I am trying to finish the last couple of weeks or days or whatever just resting up! I remember having a vision one night in bed of what I wanted it to be and it turned out pretty darn close to the picture in my head. I love decorating nurseries. I hope she likes it!


Here is a view from on top of the guest bed. I ordered the tin name plate from 'Goochie Goochie' at Spice here in town!

Here is the "nursing and changing" nook. My glider is SOOO comfortable. I love it! I still sit in Tristan's and can't bear to part with it! My mom made the memory board for me!

Mom also painted this canvas for me! Funny thing, we both saw this on a cutie pie website on our own--I actually had put it in a shopping cart and she called me and told me to look at the canvas she found! We both laughed and she said, "I could totally paint that." Well, she did and it is cuter than the original!
This is Reese's verse and I found this site thru another fave who has a friend who owns this
cutie pie shop! I think she did a great job!Ordered this rag quilt from etsy which is my favorite site in the world! Wish I could make stuff to sell on it! Also, I found the yellow highchair in an antique/junk store here in Waco. Thought it was so perfect and I figure we could use it for showers as decoration as well! And then...there is my bedding!!! I am so in love with it! I told you all I found this site that makes custom bedding and they are amazing!! The quality is divine! The material is very plush and heavy duty--not thin and cheap! PolkaTot Designs rock my face off! I HIGHLY recommend them and I would call and speak to, Deb, she was a dream come true and helped me put down all the things that were jumbled in my head! LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! Anywho, there it is! Just waiting for a baby to come slumber! Stay tuned...Mimi also made me a banner, but it is a secret until Reese gets here!!
