How Motherhood Has Changed Me on the Day to Day....

(Since it is almost midnight and I cannot sleep...)

1. 7:30 is a late morning.
2. I discovered my hair is functionally wavy.
3. Others may disagree.
4. Makeup is overrated.
5. Have only bought one new pair of shoes.
6. No new purses.
7. Friday nights begin at 6:00 and end promptly at 7:30.
8. I get excited about a good poopy diaper.
9. 3o minutes is an eternity in terms of what house work I can get done.
10. Showers are overrated.
11. I like TLC a lot.
12. When I get a booger out of Tristan's nose, I feel totally accomplished. Those little aspirators are tricky.
13. I could not survive without my mom or mom-in-law.
14. Grocery shopping is a competitive sport.
15. I google things like, "snotty nose, teeth and chunky poo".
16. Bathing suits are out of the question.
17. I want another baby a lot sooner than I ever thought I possibly would.
18. I am more creative than I thought I was.
19. I think my breastpump talks to me.
20. I like gummy smiles.

Maybe I can sleep now....

I'm in agreement with numbers:
1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17 and for sure number 20.
This was an extremely creative post I must say.

My pump says, "Bruno Parker, Bruno Parker, Bruno Parker." I have no idea where that came from, maybe the book I was reading while I was pumping!

Ha! That was a great comment, Nicki. I have to say I can't wait to hear what my breast pump whispers to me in the dark of night! That's what happens when you're off your meds because of breast feeding ;)

Wow! I can't relate to almost all of these!!! I loved this post! Oh, and on your last post, I think y'all would have fun going to Arkansas. Texas has great places, but it's fun to see something different every once in a while, and it's not too far away. I always love a good 6 hour car ride anyway! :)

Oh, what things I have to look forward to...
Such a funny post and comment!

Ha, I didn't pump for long but I was around when one of my friends was pumping (Aware) and I remember thinking, what did that thing just say? Too funny, all true!
Lauren, if u are up for a 6 hour car ride come to my house!
Nikki-we just went through Eureka Springs last month while we were up in Arkansas. We use to vaca. there when I was growing up and although it is GORGEOUS there isn't a whole lot to do. Lots of "granny" shops (antique, this that) but if you want to rest and relax book a cabin with a lake/mountain view (beaver lake) and you will be in awe.
Hope you have fun either way!

Nicki,
I just read my comment, and I meant to say I CAN relate to almost all of these!!! I scare myself sometimes, when I read back over what I've written. So many errors every time...I must be sleep deprived! :) You probably thought that was such a strange comment!

Kim, Maybe we will soon! I always like the drive to Arkansas better than the drive home, though.
