Pictures from the 4th

First, a SHOUT OUT to Stef for this ridiculously fantastic header. Her blog gives more detail on them. Anywho, got the idea off of our favorite quad mommy-to-be and knew mine needed an overhaul too. Not to mention an update...
The reason I have not posted is lack of time, my admirers (wink wink). Time. Time. Time. Where does it all go? We are putting our house on the market next Monday. Our beloved, darling house. I love it. I am bittersweet. Alas, tis time to move on. If anyone in the area is looking for a lovely starter home...let me know :) The reason we have been busy is we are trying to fix and repair all the little things to make it great and move-in ready. We worked so very hard on this house for 4 years. I will cry when we leave. Anywho, that has occupied my time quite a bit. We are looking as well, which is always difficult. We are super picky at this point. This next house we hope will not be our "forever" house, but 5-10 years can feel like an eternity, feel me? So, we are really trying to be wise and picky about the certain things that are important to us.
Tristan is doing so great! As you can see in his 4th of July pictures--he is so cute! He is starting to roll over. I will go into his room in the morning and he is side ways, sucking his toes. He also "talks" all of the time. Little high pitched squeals to get my attention. Love it. He is still such a cuddler. I am going to be devastated when he grows out of that...so I am enjoying it now. I still have yet to feed him cereal. I think that is one of our tasks for the weekend because he will be 5 months on Saturday. Can you believe? What a joy. Ok, I vow to not go 2 weeks without a post again. At least until we move.

What a cutie! He's changed so much since your last picture post.

What are your "must-haves" in a new house? I LOVE house shopping (but I know it can get old quickly, especially when everything seems to be below par).

Audrey,
TREES! we like big trees. a great backyard. we love older houses with character and charm. the house we are looking at has all of the above so we will see!! it is hard to find a house like that in waco in a good school district.

I love the new header!!! It makes mine look so boring! We just started house hunting too...even though we don't plan on moving for another year or so...but I love to look!

So fun! I love the pics! Are you staying in the same area, or looking around the city? It is so much fun to look around and pick what you want!
