Lauren, Kel and me (I know what you are all thinking--You all are wondering why I look so hot, yes? It's a simple combo of TurboKick before the meeting, sweating hair and body topped of by a sideways rain shower. I really don't know what Lauren and Kelly's excuses are. They could have at least looked decent.)
Some of us anyway! We planned a little "blogger fun" last night at a local gelateria. It was a flash flood, lightning and raining mess outside, so only 3 of us made it. Kelly, Lauren and myself all enjoyed our gelato--we are all Euro wannabes so it was fitting! We mainly swapped labor stories (so fun--I know) and gushed over our little boys. We had some major laughs. I am thankful for these two ladies. They were my friends before they were bloggers, so we have a history. I love Kelly, she is so fun-loving. I would have never left the house in the pouring floods with a newbie new at home for a GNO. She did because she is so fun and she looked beautiful! She is definitely my friend who knows "too much" about just about everything in my life. She keeps me laughing and always encourages me when I am down. I also love Lauren. We were inseparable in high school and every time I am with her I see why. It is sort of like looking into a mirror. She is hysterical! She sometimes doesn't even know she is funny and that's what I love about her. We could probably start our own version of Saturday Night Live with all of our voices and impersonations. Someday when we are all together, we will put on a performance for you! Even if no one else laughs, we will. It was a good night. I think we should do it once a month and if anyone else in the area would like to come--let me know! We can make it big!! I also encourage all of you to get together in your little blog circles in your area!! Makes for a good post.

Boo that I couldn't come! By the third time I hydro-planed on my way there I just knew I probably needed to turn around!

I SO enjoyed last night!! You are so sweet, and I was thinking last night after we left how hilariously funny you are! Your friendship is such a blessing, and I love how we really are like a mirror in our own way! That was a good way of putting it! I think I burned off all of the calories from the gelato laughing...(wishful thinking??) You and Kelly are such genuine, real friends, and it was so nice talking to y'all about "mom stuff"...Corrie, it was probably good you weren't there! Ha! We really did miss you and Kimberly, and I can't wait till next time! I'm all for making it bigger, too!

I wish I was closer too. After Baby S is born, I'm planning to come to Waco, so maybe we can all get together then too!

How fun! I'm so sad I don't still live in Waco--I would have totally joined you guys! Maybe sometime we can all meet up there, since we seem to all have ties at one time or another in good old Waco. Can't wait to see you tomorrow!!!!! It has been over a year, which is crazy!
