22 Weeks

"Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir." Galatians 4:6-7

Week 22 is already starting. Hard to believe still. I am getting bigger and bigger by the minute! It is starting to be difficult for me to teach my kickboxing classes. I think those days are becoming numbered. I am continuing to work out though, it makes me feel so much better!! Tristan is moving along in my belly. It is still a little startling to feel him at times! He really likes my weekly batch of homeade chocolate chip cookies and caramel corn! I think I have probably eaten 2 dozen cookies in the past week. For some reason, I looooove to bake these days. This is from someone who a.) doesn't love to cook and b.) doesn't love sweets. All things are a mystery in pregnancy I suppose.

Our crib bedding is in and I am sooo excited! Brent and I cleared out our spare bedroom on Sunday, leaving an empty space for our bundle. We are going to fill it up with love! I am awaiting the crib, and if the FedEx tracking is correct, it should be waiting on me when I get home! I hope we can put it together quickly, I just can't wait to see all of it up! I cannot believe how quickly we are moving along on this. It is mainly Brent--he is good at motivation and getting a move on things! Plus, I think he us just as excited as I am. All we will lack are the essentials like clothes and bottles, things we will receive at our showers. My showers will be in January, so I am looking forward to that!! We already registered at Target and I am going to register at some boutiques for the "fun" stuff! There has been something just so special about getting this room together. I walk through it daily and just smile. Even though now it is empty and hollow, soon it will be filled will coos and cries and sweet baby smells. How precious.

I am just amazed that you are STILL teaching kickboxing!! That is so exciting that you are to the point of putting the crib together, registering, etc. Before too long, that room will be filled with that wonderful, heart-warming baby smell!!
