Yea, Tommy Swanson!

I heart Tommy!! Boo for Chris Walker

The Big 12 Tournament is this weekend and guess who will be there. Not me. Brent. Of course, he will be there. He and 2 of this good friends are leaving tomorrow morning adn staying the whole weekend. I really think this is the greatest thing for him--more fun than our honeymoon. If you know Brent, you know that is a solid fact. The only thing better to him would be to go to the entire NCAA tournament. March Madness, baby. To be honest, that would be REALLY cool to go to that. Last year, he got to go to a Sweet Sixteen game. I think his day will come when he gets to go to the entire Tourney. I love it all. March Madness holds a special memory and place in my heart. It is the essence of Brent-therefore, I heart it. We love gathering our friends together to watch, or catching a random Bucknell game alone. We would watch it in college with dear friends in our crappy living rooms with a smelly couch. Screaming boys. Clueless girls trying to act like they know what a zone defense is (I, of course, do not have to fake it) to impress the dudes. I really hope that in the Big 12 tournament, Baylor at least wins one game. For Tommy before he is done. He is my boy. He is so polite, I hate to sound like a marm, but he is a nice guy. I commend him for sticking it out when he could have left during the turmoil. Stand up guy, he really is. Anyhey, watch the tourney and come watch the big dance with us anytime. Anytime.

Our boys are going to have SO much fun! I'm glad they have each other. I don't think I could handle 4 days of basketball. Ryan was beside himself with excitement!

Yep, March Madness is much better than Christmas and New Years combined. Part of this is because it lasts for a whole month. It's like you get to open a new gift or 2 every day. Throw a Spring Break right there in the middle of it and you've got heaven.

Cor,
They are hilarious! I am so happy they can spend time together and I must say that Ryan is THE most gracious Aggie I have ever met ;)

Justin,
I think Brent would have to agree 100% with you. The only thing is that once it is over...no college basketball for a long time and that makes him so sad!

hey you aren't the only girl who knows something about sports! Our own Elizabeth and Coleen are quite the experts themselves in the basketball department!

P.S. Had a good time watching the recruit season for college football, the Tigers should look pretty good this year!

Have fun this weekend.
