Left you hanging....

Sheer neglect. I have not been a good blogger. I hate it when I am ready to read a blog and there is nothing new to indulge in. So I apologize to all of the adoring fans. All 6 of you. And you know who you are. I am usually so Tired when I get home from anything. Or maybe my life is just void of what you all would think is exciting. Which is probably why I blog. Thanksgiving was great! The whole fam damily was in. That was good. (almost) All of my cousins have kids and they(the cousins) are younger than me. I know they don't mean to, but they sort of look at me like I am a shriveled egg warmer. Seriously. I do, I do want them, I DO! Just not at this very moment. I do love to see the fam though! They are a rowdy bunch, my family. Not much in common with them anymore, but when I am around them, I am totally nostalgic. They are my childhood. It is like we still connect on the level of kids and it feels totally normal. I like that about my cousins. They are special to me. Even though their kids puked in my house and in my car. They are still A-OK.
Still putting up Christmas decor. I heart the holidays. Three trees. I feel sort of eccentric. The lights are not working. Does it strike you odd that all around most of the world, people are putting lights around a tree, cursing at the ones that do not light up. Lights. They are an important facet of the entire Christmas mood. Lovely lights. And the house. Oh, our house. It is not finished, but I will just say this...Brent is a fan of the colored lights. Quite a show.
